The story behind The Acreage Edit

Hi, I’m MJ.
City girl.
Acreage dreamer.

Making a little room for the life I’m dreaming of—one cozy corner at a time.

Welcome to my little corner of country-inspired living. I’m glad you found your way here.

Somewhere between here & someday

The land can wait.
The feeling doesn’t have to.

I may not have the acreage yet, but I have the vision: a welcoming home, a garden to get my hands into, and outdoor spaces that make you want to stay a little longer.

I’m based in Canada, with a vegetable garden I learn from every season, a greenhouse I’m slowly figuring out, and a long list of acreage dreams. For now, I’m building toward that life right where I am.

The Acreage Edit grew out of wanting a place that felt both practical and beautiful. Somewhere to gather the ideas, useful finds, and small projects that bring a little country warmth to everyday life.

Think of it as my vision board brought to life, with room for the learning along the way. If you’re creating a home you love, whether on a city lot or a few acres, I hope you’ll feel at home here too.

Glad you’re here,
MJ
